(1). First find your fabric art and cut it 4 or 5 inches bigger than your stretched canvas frame. If your frame is 16" x 20" then the backing material should be the same size as the Stretched canvas frame and the fabric art should be 20" x 24" or 21" x 25" to allow for the fold over on the back of your stretched canvas frame. Be sure to orient your fabric art and Stretched canvas frame to portrait
Just like the stretched canvas frame is stapled, we will staple the fabric art for our note board the same way. We like using an electric staple gun, we use ARROW T50 5/16" staples.

We put a thin backing material a little bigger than the frame between the canvas and the fabric art for a little softness.
Then cut the fabric art 2" bigger than the stretch canvas frame on all 4 sides.
