Make your upcycle T-Shirt crafts with a nice image applied to it and find an embroidery hoop to fit it.
Put the inside of the embroidery hoop centered under the picture on your upcycle T-Shirt crafts.
Place the outer ring of your embroidery hoop over the top of the upcycle T-Shirt crafts picture and stretch the fabric snug and evenly as you slide the outer hoop over the inner hoop, then tighten the hoop.
When your art piece is aligned on the hoop, trim the upcycle T-Shirt crafts excess, and leave a half inch around the embroidery hoop to glue in place.
put a bead of fabric glue on the back side of the embroidery hoop all of the way around, where the half inch of upcycle T-Shirt crafts excess touching the embroidery hoop.
Fold the excess fabric over your embroidery hoop art and glue to lock it in place.
Now the trim. I use lace for my trim because it has a curve built in naturally and I have a source locally that has a reasonable price.
And it's pretty!
Applying the lace to your upcycle T-Shirt crafts embroidery hoop is the same as securing the back material, starting at the top of the embroidery hoop where the clamp is, just put the fabric glue on the outer hoop and press the lace into the glue for a few seconds and it is done.
After the lace is applied and making sure you left at least a half inch overlap at the clamp, I like to add with the fabric glue a flower or bow at the top of your embroidery hoop art to make it neater.
There is usually a big enough gap at the embroidery hoop clamp screw of your upcycle T-Shirt crafts that a push pin will fit in the gap, that's how I hang these.
